A poem—if you could call it that—about someone who yearns for love from the person they've always loved; to have their love reciprocated, but in the back of their mind they know they will never be with them. They're nothing to the other person. They can only wish for another reality, another universe to be with them, knowing well it will always be a figment of their imagination when in reality, nothing will change.

Illusionary Reality
Aisha Haida Asyri, Televisi dan Film 2021
Endless pain I’ve been feeling the soon my eyes landed on you.
You stood pretty and warm.
It’s as if you’ve casted a spell on me.
Perhaps that is how you are;
very inviting.
If only I could touch you,
without thinking about what others would think.
To hug and adore you all night long.
To love and cherish every sunshine.
Maybe there will be a day where my dreams could become reality.
Just you and I in our own universe with no one else to see.
